Gaps between teeth, discolored or chipped tooth surfaces, large amalgam fillings, or discolored composite crowns detract from the aesthetics and the harmonious overall appearance of the face.
This has nothing to do with cosmetics or enhancing one's appearance with cosmetic products, because cosmetics or jewelry cannot hide unsightly teeth.
That's why we offer natural and effective solutions for a flawless smile:
Metal-free all-ceramic crowns
We place particular emphasis on aesthetics in the front teeth area, because these teeth are our calling card. Ideally, your new teeth will last a lifetime, and your new smile will reflect your personality.
The all-ceramic crown made of modern glass ceramics represents the optimum in aesthetics today compared to a natural tooth. With the right design, it is almost indistinguishable from your own teeth, even for a specialist.
The color and shape should suit your individual features and resemble natural teeth as closely as possible. Since each tooth has different colors and levels of translucency, the dental crown is built up in the dental lab using multiple colors and layers. CAD/CAM techniques are used to achieve the highest level of precision.
The refraction of light in the tooth plays a special role here. Only a metal-free crown can achieve the same light refraction as a natural tooth.
At our practice, we won't fit any crowns without your full consent! The crowns will be adjusted at the dental lab until you're completely happy with your smile!
Simple corrections of the front teeth
In many cases, even simple composite fillings can produce amazing results and completely transform a smile:
- Old and discolored fillings are replaced, making them invisible again.
- Small gaps between the teeth (diastema) are closed.
- Minor misalignments or unsightly tooth shapes and colors are corrected.
In many cases, this can be done without having to remove any healthy tooth structure. The healthy tooth therefore remains completely intact!
Veneers
Veneers are wafer-thin ceramic shells that are bonded to the tooth, with or without grinding down the natural tooth. They form a sort of new layer of enamel and produce natural-looking results:
- Deeply stained teeth become white again.
- Minor misalignments of the teeth are corrected.
- Small gaps between teeth are closed.
- Chipped teeth can be repaired.
