Children

Children are little adults
...and are treated with the same seriousness and respect! We are happy to take all the time we need together to ensure that your child feels at home with us.
One of the most important goals is for your child to get to know us and the new situation "dentist", to build up trust and to make normal visits to the dentist a matter of course.
Except in emergencies, no treatments are therefore usually carried out during the first visit. Depending on age, this first appointment is used to get to know each other and for a playful, sensitive introduction to dental treatment.
Important information for parents
Avoid negations and negative statements!
If you say to your child: "It doesn't hurt at all!", "You won't feel anything!", your child understands "It hurts, I will feel something!" "The syringe only pricks a little" ...your child hears "syringe" and "prick" ...it will prick (...if anesthesia is used at all) "You don't need to be afraid! " is understood as "I must be afraid...!" The subconscious mind knows no denial!

Do not discuss negative stories about other people's visits to the dentist with your child at home.
As parents, you should only speak positively about your dental experience! If you do not have such positive experiences, it is better not to say anything.
Do not talk too much about treatment procedures, as this can sometimes instill unnecessary fear in your child! Trust us...we will prepare your child for the treatment in the best possible way with his or her words and ours!
Examples of child-friendly terms
- Injection = sleeping drops, put tooth to sleep
- Drill = Toothbrush
- Filling = tighten tooth again
- Examination = counting teeth
Encourage the children to go into the treatment room on their own.
If this is not initially possible, an accompanying person can also be present during the treatment.

Leave the guidance of your child to us and please follow our instructions
Even if you find it difficult or incomprehensible at the time.
