The 7th Guidelines Conference of the German Society of Implantology (DGI) will take place in March 2025 in Sinzig near Bonn. The action and therapy guidelines for the dental profession are discussed and defined at guideline conferences.<\/p>

Therefore, high-ranking representatives of all implantology societies and professional associations were also invited to this event.<\/p>

Scientific guidelines in implantology provide essential guidance for dentists working in implantology. They define clear corridors of action, particularly with regard to indications and surgical and implant prosthetic procedures. They therefore make a significant contribution to the safety of patient treatment, as they are based on sound scientific knowledge and are formulated accordingly.<\/p>

The conference will be held as a closed meeting at Ahrenthal Castle in Sinzig - far away from external influences and disruptions to enable concentrated work on the guidelines.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The discussion in 2025 will focus on five central topics in implantology:<\/p>

  1. Indications for the use of bone replacement materials (S2k)<\/li>
  2. Implant prosthetic restoration of the edentulous maxilla (S3)<\/li>
  3. Replacement of missing teeth with composite bridges (S3)<\/li>
  4. Peri-implant soft tissue augmentation (S3)<\/li>
  5. Dental implants in immunocompromised patients (S3)<\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

    Initially, these topics are discussed and voted on intensively in small groups. This is followed by a final overall assessment in the plenary session.<\/p>
